Today I photograph life stories & love stories.
Thirteen years ago, on my nineteenth birthday, I became a mother.
My baby boy made my world - he saved me in every way a person can be saved.
He changed everything: the way I saw light, time, and love itself.
Since then, I’ve raised my three incredible children who have taught me everything about life, love, and what truly matters - the fleeting moments that become the story of us.
Being their mother is everything to me.
And the photographs we have together are my most treasured possessions.
They remind me that even in the mess, the noise, and the passing seasons… we were here.
We loved each other deeply.
We made something beautiful out of ordinary days - there is no other way.
That’s why I do what I do.
Because I want every mother to have what I would want - not just pictures, but proof.
Proof that you were there. That you loved, and are loved. and that love was the masterpiece all along..
Every session I photograph is an act of preservation - a way of pausing time, even for just a heartbeat.
So that years from now, when you look back, you don’t just remember how it looked - you remember how it felt.
This is the story of Christy-Leigh Photography.
And really, it’s the story of all of us - holding on to love while it’s right here.
